Every Michael!Dean scene in this episode made me laugh so hard… but everything else was so good, especially Jack. He just wanted to be like Star Wars lmao (… on a serious note, I’m glad to see continuities in Jack’s self hatred and then the development of Jack and Sam’s relationship. Hope Jack is happier in season 14)

I agree! That awkward floating in the air, and then the freeze frame. It was pretty horribly done. Which really surprised me because the fight scenes, and filming in general, have been superb this season. For the finale to fumble? It surprised me!

As far as season 14 is concerned:

I have a honey-do list

1) Mary and Bobby. Please. It’s all I really ask. They’re adorable together.

2) Charlie learning magic from Rowena on their road trips and at least ONE shot of Rowena wearing a novelty tee.

3) If we must suffer Michael, I want Jensen with slicked back hair, clean shave (scruff was not acceptable for a dapper man back then), and being pissed when someone messes up the shine on his shoes.

4) Sam being the focal point of the of the hunt to cure Dean, and not it being completely Dean-centric. Season 13 started a good trend for once in that department, and now I Have Expectations.

5) Sam telling Jack he loves him, too.

6) Castiel going face to face with Michael and telling him the trench coat look is covered.

7) No more freeze frame season closers. That was the stupidest one yet.

8) No more freeze frames at all. They have never worked in anything ever.

9) Jack not angsting over not being able to save anyone now that he’s human, if he was completely drained and can’t recharge, of course. Either way, Jack has been angsting for one whole season over not being able to save enough people. He’s done with that.

10) Seriously, determined, loving, cheerful Jack is the best Jack. We need him.

But, like, no angels ever gave up a vessel willingly. Not a single one. Every single one of them knows that. On top of that, Dean had to know it would be even less likely for him since Michael’s only fucking goal was getting to another universe to destroy it. Dean ain’t stupid. But he better spend a lot of goddamn time in season 14 explaining why a guy who has actually turned an entire planet to rubble is a lesser evil than Lucifer, who’s track record is being a whiny baby. Plus, with no one on his side, how was he going to bring total ruin, even with Jack’s powers? Michael needed every angel there was. Nephilim or not, that ain’t an army.
