Based on the new guidelines, since this image doesn’t contain genitals, and it does not actively portray the act of sex, it will not be deleted by me. Should staff come after it, I’ll be fighting it.

Very true. I have this art posted with my fic links as well, and I will fight to keep that post up. The concern is that Tumblr is going to do what most other places do, and expand their “guidelines” for what is unacceptable over time. And LGBTQ+ content is usually the first to go. Nothing on my site will be leaving, and if it’s forced off, I’ll fight back.
Blaming content creators for Tumblr’s failure to attract the ad revenue they want is going to do nothing good in the long run until the site shuts its doors, or they re-brand as something totally different, and we’re all run off anyway.
But in the meantime, I don’t plan on leaving or letting them take down my content that isn’t in violation of anything.
