-Cake?-

Doing this thing

[A/N It’s my bday today so just let this crack art wash over you like a tidal wave of too much booze and sugar, or think of it as artistic support for the meta theory that Cas is that slice of cake Dean wants to eat so badly. Either one. ]

“@winchester-reload: Happy Birthday!

Dean has an epic amount of pornography on his computer. Castiel knows this. Chuck told him about it. He hadn’t seen it at the time; had no reason to desire to, but things have changed. A lot. For a week, Castiel begs off of hunts. Locks himself in his room. And he watches Dean’s epic amount of pornography. It takes about a week for Castiel to have a solid grasp on the themes he sees over and over. Formulate an idea of what Dean might like.

When it’s time, he he gathers his supplies and prepares himself. He’s not embarrassed, but he is confused. He’s not sure that he understands the appeal here. But now is the time to see the results. As he knocks on Dean’s door, he entertains the very real possibility that he might be laughed at. It’s not a pleasant thought.

Irrationally,he wants to back away from the door, but then Dean is calling for him to come in and it’s too late. He pushes open the door.

Dean does not laugh. Dean does not move. Dean does not blink.

“Happy Birthday,” Castiel says.

That seems to break the seal. “I don’t understand what’s happening,” Dean says. “Cas?”

Castiel raises his right arm higher. “Cake?”

“What the fuck?”

“They were out of pie,” Castiel explains regretfully. “And I can’t cook, so you get a cake.”

Dean sits up very slowly. More slowly he scoots down the bed. Slower still, he drapes his legs over the edge of the bed. “You’re naked,” Dean says.

“Of course I am,” Castiel frowns. “It’s your birthday.”

Dean shakes his head like he doesn’t understand what’s going on here. That confuses Castiel. He should know. It’s about as obvious as he can make it. He’s naked save for the tie around his neck and the ridiculous paper hat that he regrets because the strap cuts into his chin. He’s holding a cake. The door is shut and locked securely behind him. “Hell of a surprise party,” Dean says after a minute, and at least he’s starting to smile.

“It was intended to be a good surprise,” Castiel worries. Perhaps the pornography had steered him in the wrong direction. Considering how any times Dean had watched that one with just this scenario, Castiel had thought it would be a welcome gift.

Still with slow, purposeful movements, Dean reaches out and pinches the bottom of the tie between two fingers. “It sure ain’t a bad one.” He tugs with no force whatsoever, but Castiel draws closer anyway. “Presents first, cake later,” he murmurs.

Castiel starts to apologize about the present. He’d completely forgotten about it in the rest of the planning. But all that comes out is a strangled shout when the wet heat of Dean’s mouth suddenly engulfs the tip of his dick. His whole body startles so violently that the cake almost falls. Luckily it appears that Dean has anticipated the issue, because his hand comes up under Castiel’s, and he rescues it before it can cause a mess.

That frees Castiel’s hands up so that he can place them on either side of Dean’s head and peer down at him with all the wonder in the world.

Dean says nothing else, but it would be a shame if he had to because his mouth is working miracles. His tongue swirls and strokes, teases and tortures, and Castiel couldn’t possibly say how long it goes on when Dean finally grabs the base of the angel’s cock, and as slowly as he’s done everything else, eases the hard length into his mouth all the way down to the root.

Dimly, Castiel remembers that this is called “deep throating” and that it is extremely difficult – sometimes impossible – to master.

Dean, though; beautiful Dean, drinks him down with the close-eyed bliss of a connoisseur. He makes a small moan in his chest, hollows his cheeks, and sucks everything – blood, bone, marrow, grace, everything – out from Castiel’s dick. He’d be ashamed of the absurd hyperbole, but it feels accurate.

When he comes, it’s straight down the back of Dean’s throat to a hurricane in his veins and the human below him swallowing every drop like it’s a necessity of life. Then he moans again, the vibrations ricocheting up Castiel’s spine, and he comes, too. Despite the obscene pleasure, Castiel still has the sense to be slightly disappointed that he missed Dean jerking himself off.

The aftermath is a gorgeous tableau, however. Dean grins up at him, flushed bright and dirtied with come on his chin and hand. “Okay,” he says hoarsely, delightedly. “You sold me on this birthday thing. Now lets eat some cake.”

Summary:

In the years following his mother’s death in a house fire, Dean Winchester begins to develop OCD as a way to cope with the loss. After more than a decade without a diagnosis, his symptoms grow more severe. And after the sudden death of John Winchester, Dean is left to cope by himself and Sam is forced to quit his undergrad in order to care for him. Ashamed of his shut-in life, and guilty that his little brother has become his caretaker at the expense of everything else, Dean seeks out therapy, and five years later, is holding down a full time job, can freely visit his favorite coffee shop to get a daily dose of Castiel, the (hot) hippie owner, and Sam is now free to return to school.

Sam Winchester would do anything for his brother, but he is more than thrilled to finally be returning to school, even if he is a 23 year-old sophomore. It also helps that a certain smart mouthed TA is helping him get back into the groove. Of course, getting a good read on Gabriel is just about as easy as advanced Chemistry, and he’s not so great at that, either. As the semester goes on, he gets the distinct impression that his orderly life is about to get messy.

Inktober Day 6 Topic: “Lips”

-Pink-

Doing this thing

@winchester-reload : I hope you don’t mind? It’s cool if you do, though!

Dean is failing, fading. Castiel can feel it. Not sure how he can, but he can. Too cold, too wet, and ten minutes ago was not the time to discover that Dean Winchester could only swim where there weren’t currents.

And right now wasn’t the time for Castiel to realize that he’s an angel of the lord, and never felt the need to learn first aid until this second. He can heal wounds and illness, scrapes and stabs, but he’s not a witch – he can’t just make a room warmer. He can’t do anything for low body temperature.

Except. One of his Netflix marathons might be useful now. He strips them both of their sopping clothes, Dean limp and barely awake against him. It’s a trial in the cramped back of the Impala. But he gets it done. Gets the car started to blast the heater. Sprawls out in the backseat with Dean against him, cold and not shivering yet, but something about the sensation of skin on skin feels incredibly final to Castiel. And not in the bad way that they’re so accustomed to. This is the other way.

His arms feel trapped where they’re wrapped around Dean’s torso, palms flat against his stomach and belly. He’s getting warmer. That’s a good sign. When Dean starts to shiver, Castiel can’t help himself, really. He slides his head forward, convincing himself that rubbing their cheeks together is completely innocent. Just checking the human’s temperature, of course. That’s what he’ll tell Dean if either of them survive what’s happening right now. Dean trying not to freeze to death, and Castiel trying not to burn up.

But then Dean starts to shiver. Small tremors at first that wrack him almost painfully. His blue lips part on a breathy moan, and that has to be a good sign. “Cas,” he whispers.

It’s pained, but to Castiel’s ears it sounds… it sounds like he wishes it would sound in another place. Or perhaps right here under better circumstances.

Castiel stares at the plush bow of Dean’s lips, transfixed. He swallows. Is acutely aware of his breath on the side of Dean’s face when he answers softly, “I’m here, Dean.”

Dean’s head tilts up, eyes still closed as he trembles harder. His lips are losing their gray tinge. That’s a good sign. They look so much better this way. A particularly violent shudder lances through Dean, his whole body arching as he gives a startled, hurting grunt. Castiel’s arms tighten around him helplessly and he tries not to be afraid. The fear is making him want things much more than he usually does. “I’m right here,” he murmurs, voice seeming to soothe Dean again. “You’re okay.”

Dean sighs, turning his head, eyelashes tickling Castiel’s neck to make the angel tense as lightning shoots through him at the tiny sensation. “Thanks,” he breathes. His breath is warm. So very, very warm.

After all this time, Castiel thinks. I’ve been so good. I’ve tried so hard. Dean had told him that everyone has a breaking point. It’s true. And it’s in the backseat of the Impala on a frigid night. A silent sob chokes Castiel’s throat.

Dean’s cold fingers slide up over Castiel’s arm, over his neck, into the curled hairs behind his ear. Castiel is shaking as badly as Dean is now. Maybe more. Definitely more when Dean opens his eyes, gaze hard and irrevocable. “It’s okay,” he says. Nothing else. No explanation.

It has to mean what Castiel hopes it means. He’s been so good. So long. Too long. He tilts his head further down against the awkward angle and kisses Dean’s perfect lips. Mild pressure. No teeth. No tongue. Just lips.

Dean’s fingers spasm and tighten in his hair. That and the sudden acceleration in his heartbeat are the only signs that Castiel has guessed correctly.

It must go on and on the careful meeting and parting, warm gusts of breath, the gradual deepening of the exploration. And when it’s over, Dean sighs like a truly sated soul. His weight falls heavy against Castiel’s chest, head tucked into the space below his jaw. “It’s okay,” Dean whispers again, finally done shaking. “Cas, it’s okay. You’re okay.”

It sounds so much better when Dean says it now that the urgency is gone. Castiel plants one soft kiss against the arch of Dean’s eyebrow before settling back, too. “We’re okay,” he agrees.

™. I guess season 14 must be getting close…

He got his freckles back

@winchester-reload I took the liberty because I had to. And I haven’t been able to write anything in weeks.

“You can ask me anything you like, Dean,” Castiel says, voice still rough from their previous activities.

Dean smirks. “Like what? If you want round two?”

Castiel smiles back, eyes flicking down. “You’re still human, and even I can’t heal your lackluster refractory period.”

“Ouch,” Dean laughs, pushing himself up onto his elbows to shamelessly rake his gaze over Castiel’s warm body under him, completely at ease. Completely sated. Happy. What a world. “You’re seriously busting my ass over the best sex we’ve ever had?”

“No,” Castiel answers. “I’m quite satisfied, thank you. I was just saying… we should talk.”

Dean’s eyes widen. “Wait, what? When someone says that, it’s usually pretty… uh… ominous.”

“That’s not what I mean,” Castiel scowls. “I was simply under the impression that people enjoy talking post-coitus. It helps the deepening of the romantic bond.”

“Jesus Christ on toast, you’ve been talking to Sam,” Dean sighs.

“I want to be even closer to you,” Castiel protests. “What we have is wonderful, but I…”

“But you’re a romantic.” Dean nearly gets hives saying it, so he leans down and kisses Castiel’s full, waiting lips. Nuzzles down his chin, over his neck. It’s fucking great. All of it. Even the talking part. Maybe especially the talking part. It’s not the usual “first fuck” kind he has with other people. This is Castiel. Cas. He doesn’t know shit about protocol, and that’s fantastic. “Okay,” he murmurs against Castiel’s pulse, “if you wanna talk, we can talk.”

“I’ve been alive for eons,” Castiel says, fingers walking up the back of Dean’s spine to the hair on the nape of his neck, holding him close. “Perhaps there are things you’ve always wondered that no one would know the answers to.”

Chuckling, Dean says, “like what?”

“Like, have you wondered if bats have feelings? They do, by the way.”

Dean snorts, picking a meandering path over Castiel’s jaw while the angel keeps holding him close. “I’ve never wondered that.”

“I’ve already told you about a cat’s penis.”

That sets Dean off laughing until his eyes tear up. He collapses against Castiel, kissing him between loud peels of laughter. When he’s done, he pulls up again, staring at the angel grinning underneath him with adoring wonder. “Cas,” he says lovingly. “You really suck at pillow talk.”
