1. What/who first got you into Supernatural?

I had watched seasons 1-2 while they were when I lived in Japan because it made me less homesick. Then I moved back to the USA and promptly forgot about it. @ltleflrt, who is my bestie, got into the show and told me to give it a go again. Season 8 (I think? Maybe the end of 7?) was airing then, and I held out for a while, but she always pulls down eventually, so I picked it up again and promptly fell in love, because she is always right. 😀

2. What was the clincher that made you keep watching the show?

Bobby Singer. Hard stop.

3. Which more rare character do you wish appeared more often in episodes?

If you mean one that’s still alive? Donna and Jody, and that’s why I hope Wayward gets picked up. One that’s dead? Charlie and Benny. They were both so amazing.

4. If you could bring one character back to life permanently, who would you choose?

Dude, like a lot of them. Some have already come back, but, Charlie, Benny, Donatello, Crowley, Eileen, Jo, Ellen, Bobby, etc. My favorites always die, so…

5. What is your favorite thing about Dean Winchester? Sam? Cas?

Dean: His childish sense of humor.

Sam: His empathy.

Castiel: His love and lack of understanding of humanity.

6. Favorite rarepair?

TONS OKAY! Sam/Gabriel, Sam/Castiel, Dean/Benny, Dean/Donna

7. Which character do you admire most?

That’s a pretty big question, but my instinct is to say Jody Mills. She lost her entire family to monsters, helped Bobby even when she didn’t have to, has become a safe place for the Winchesters, and on top of that, became a surrogate mom to Claire and Alex even though motherhood traumatized her more than anything. Jody’s ability to do her job, hunt monsters, and keep a steady loving household for anyone in need is something I admire greatly. She could have crashed because of what happened to her, but she just picked up her gun, and kept her heart and home open. And she’s still very realistically flawed, too. She doesn’t know how to talk about sex to the girls. Doesn’t completely know how to help with Claire when she’s rebelling. But she tries and she succeeds, and loves her found family with all her heart. Her, “Donna, I can’t lose another child,” just makes me love her so much.

9. Ever written fanfiction? What about?

That’s kind of all I ever do. 😀 And pretty much everything from coda fics, to everyday AU’s.

Just one? Uh. That’s really hard. But the one I read the most is Your Heart Makes by @schmerzerling

11. Favorite season?

Probably season 5? Though 13 is really climbing up there. 😀

Destiel

13. If you could add to or change one thing that happened in the show, what would you do?

I would bring back Charlie and Eileen because they were fridged and there was no reason whatsoever for them to die.

14. You’re transported into the show and you get to be one villian, dead or alive. Who do you choose?

Lucifer or Meg.

15. Top 5 favorite episodes?

Scoobynatural, The French Mistake, Fanfiction, Changing Channels, and Just My Imagination.

16. What’s one plot twist you did NOT see coming?

I don’t want to sound snooty, but there aren’t many twists that surprised me. However, Gabriel showing up again did shock me! I actually always thought he was alive, but didn’t think he’d come back.

17. What character are you most similar to?

I’ve been told I’m quite sunny like Charlie, though @ltleflrt claims I’m Jody with a heavy dollop of Kim Rhodes herself. 😀 I’m cool with it! 

18. Have you ever cosplayed? If so, as who?

No, I haven’t. I don’t cosplay much.

19. What episode scared the crap out of you?

I actually have to think about this. I like horror and stuff, and it doesn’t really scare me. However, Red Meat made me really uncomfortable and emotional. But that’s the only one that sticks out in my head. But I also get kinda creeped out by characters in masks.

20. What character do you hate with a passion?

Dick Roman. He was a great villain for this day and age.

21. You have the power to choose how the show ends. How do you end it?

I’d really like Sam and Dean to end up semi-retiring by becoming like Bobby figures. Or making the bunker like a weigh station for hunters where they can rest, research, find help, and train. Passing the buck along, but still being in the life. I don’t think either of them could walk away entirely, but I don’t want them to die for real.

22. Favorite alternate version of a character? (i.e. Casifer, demon! dean, gadreel in sam, souless sam, ect.)

I’m partial to memory loss!Dean and Souless!Sam and Casifer.

23. Who is one character you love that other people have mixed feelings about/ don’t really care much about?

I cultivate my dash a lot, so I’m not actually sure. Maybe Cain? Rufus?

24. Funniest episode?

Changing Channels and Scoobynatural.

25. Episode that left you emotionally dead inside?

Death’s Door. I cry every time watching Bobby die.

Why is everyone so cool with Gabriel being around Sam? Why would Sam forgive him? He tortured the poor guy killing Dean a million times and sticking them in TV land for shits and giggles. He’s awful!!

I certainly agree that Gabriel was pretty shitty to Sam and Dean for quite some time, but let’s consider a couple things.

1) It’s been 8 years. We know from experience that Dean holds a grudge pretty damn hard. Sam can do the the same, but usually doesn’t. Sam forgives people and moves on most of the time. He’s willing to let people redeem themselves and go forward. That’s pretty part and parcel to his whole character, considering he thought of himself as unclean and cursed for a long time. But the Sam we have now is quite far removed from that. It’s important to his character, and something I love about him a lot. 

Gabriel has been out of the story for 8 years now. I think it does a huge disservice to Sam when the fans suggest that he shouldn’t do unto others as he did to himself. He forgave himself a lot, and we all supported that. Why shouldn’t he try to forgive other people, too?

2) Gabriel has PTSD out the ass. I’m assuming you saw the preview for 13.18, where we got another look at how badly Gabriel’s been literally tortured and violated for years. And no, I don’t think he deserved that. I don’t anyone deserves that. But I also don’t believe for a second that Gabriel is going to come back and be the shitheel that he was in season’s past. He can’t be.

So, Sam’s empathy is completely understandable to me. Gabriel’s been through a lot of punishment. What good would it do for Sam or Castiel or Dean to lay on more? He’s already broken. But he doesn’t need to stay that way. He shouldn’t.

Frankly, all these people bitching about Sam doing the wrong thing forgiving the former toxicity from eight years ago, doesn’t understand Sam Winchester in the least. Human beings forgive each other. Yes, there are some things that should never be forgiven, but remember: the world that Supernatural takes place in has literal world-ending plots. Sam and Dean have almost caused it more than once. They’ve done things that no one in our reality would forgive. Like, remember that time that Dean (while under the influence of the Mark of Cain, granted) shot and killed a kid? And yet, we still think he’s a good guy.

Sam having empathy and trying to help someone who has literally been driven out of his mind by torture is completely realistic. It’s what I love so much about Sam Winchester.

I think he’s doing the right thing.
