Nerdler has had a big start to the school year. She came down with a cold and had to miss today. Thankfully she’s with Professor Ex because my throat has been hurting today. Ugh.
I took a Benadryl and dozed off. Must have been snoring because I jerked awake to a cat paw in my mouth.

Hello as you can see from my tumblr I love fanfics and there are some great authors and artists out there out there am I Right.
If I was to suggest some authors and artists it would go something like
Then you have got to read @navajolovesdestiel Marry Me or the Sir verse, @xharuka17x for some great omega Cas in Football and Pride or Buying an Alpha; @jhoomwrites for great myth fics like Lover in the Dark and To wear the Crown, @pherryt for beautiful fics like Broken and the What family Means verse @ltleflrt for Satin and Sawdust or Dreaming in Digital @tobythewise for wonderful ABO like The Way I See You, and Sweet Slick and Submission, @coffeeandcas for some the greatest SPN Au like The Light That Never Goes Out or The House On Ocean Road, @palominopup for Gaurding Castiel and Wrong place Right Time ,or art that makes you feel by @winchester-reload or @jdragon122@jupiterjames Protect and Serve @braezenkitty great one shots and @ilostmyshoe-79 who I discovered when a friend of mine let me read one the prompts and @destimushi Cupcake Verse that held me from beginning to end and @ladyofthursday for Skin Deep And Mr Smith will See you Now or @madsmeetsmisha TrueMate. These are just a few reasons why I read Fanfic all of these authors are wonderful and everyone that I have asked a question or given a prompt has answered me and or written my prompt even though they have so many other fic to write and they always apologize for the length of time even though I don’t mind at all. some more than once!!! @navajolovesdestiel 😀. By the way the stories I’ve listed above are just a few of the fics written by these author there is sooooo MUCH more!!!!!! I would suggest tumblr like @destielfanfic and @deancasbigbang or any of the fic sites. If you don’t like what is written please don’t be mean or give harsh criticism I know all of the authors love hearing you like their stories and I’m sure constructive comments are welcome. I see so many mean things and I’m just happy these authors take the time to answer us or entertain us with their art and stories when they have families, jobs and lives outside of writing or art Now what I would like to know is can some of these great authors suggest other great authors or artists I can look into. Oh and one more thing!!! Send a nice comment or just let some of these authors know what a great job they are doing .

Summary:Art student Castiel Novak is struggling to solidify an idea for his BFA senior project incorporating painting and photography. Enter Dean Winchester, current MFA student, tattoo artist apprentice, and now, nude model for the figure drawing class. Suddenly, Castiel’s vision for the perfect project springs to life in his mind. Full of wings, souls, and visible grace. Something he sees shining out of the outgoing tattoo artist like never before. All he needs to do now is convince Dean to let him paint on his body, and also somehow figure out what to do about the fledgling feelings he has for Dean that he didn’t even think he was capable of before now.
My thoughts: I really love this fic. It was for a DCBB, and those usually get lower collective reads, but I think my DCBBs have all been some of my favorites. I tend to write uncomplicated falling in love. Slice of life, angst-free, just Dean and Castiel falling in love. I don’t write a lot of college AU’s, but this one really caught my imagination.
Centuries ago, Earth was ruled by magic. Witches and their otherworldly familiars wandered freely, channeling the magic and sending it out, and through, nature. But as everything on Earth, there is an ebb and flow. Over time, magic, and magic users have disappeared to become myths. However, the cycle is returning. Witches are coming back in larger numbers in these modern times to control the energy before it spirals out of control and creates havoc. Castiel Novak, CPA, is a witch. Then again, he doesn’t believe in witches, magic, or the supernatural. Enter Dean Winchester, familiar, who is thrown from his plane of existence to Earth, charged with being Castiel’s familiar. His job, to establish a bond with his human, to help Castiel channel his magic. But first he must convince the disbelieving human to accept his fate before they both die from its disuse.
My thoughts: I’ve always felt that it was a pity there weren’t more human Castiel and creature Dean fics. This fic was a commission for Fandom Trumps Hate 2017, and when the idea was pitched, I totally fell in love with it, though it was out of my wheelhouse a little. I’ve never written an AU quite like this, but I enjoyed exploring Dean being the one not from Earth this time. Plus, it was fun to explore soul bonding in a less typical way.
Dean Winchester, best damn HR Manager ever, has a tough job to do. His only relief is the moment he can leave work and blast his classic rock at top volume. But after a particularly difficult day, AC/DC does nothing to calm his frayed nerves when he has to fire a good employee who doesn’t deserve her fate. Stretched almost to the breaking point with nothing to relax him, Dean unexpectedly hears a distant piano playing from somewhere nearby. He knows nothing of classical music, or the person playing it, but he’s immediately comforted by the melancholy piece. What he doesn’t realize, is that the famous concert pianist responsible for the music, Castiel Milton, is equally charmed by the the classic rock music drifting through his own windows and the voice of the man who puts a lot of heart into singing along every day. Through a chance encounter, Dean and Castiel discover more to love than just their music.
My thoughts: As much as #2 was out of my wheelhouse, this one is so in my wheelhouse, it’s not even funny. I was a music major for my first few years in college before I decided to switch. So writing about piano player Castiel was awesome. I also really enjoyed writing another angst-free fic. I’m sort of known for those in the SPN fandom now, and I’m not at all upset about that. I loved every word of this fic, and I hope everyone else does, too!
Cas isn’t surpised to learn that Dean’s cowboy enthusiasm got passed down to their kid.
