Day 28: Ladies
I thought about the three boys hit by a witch’s spell and turned into lovely ladies!
(Or maybe they just pissed Rowena off for some reason)
(also, Dean doesn’t seem to mind too much)

You know what’s so precious about “Mint Condition?” Sam specifically chose a ghost hunt at a comic store because he knew for a fact that it would finally get Dean out of his room and on a hunt, and had the best chance of any to get him out of his funk, even for a moment.
Sam saw the slam dunk, and actually ended up getting it. The whole episode, he wasn’t one time surprised at how Hardcore Nerd Dean went. He enjoyed it.
It’s some of the best caretaking we’ve seen in this show in a long time.
Why did Dean even bother with that “two choices” speech? He’s never wanted to fight anything that badly in his everloving life.
He also likes giving dramatic, movie-hero-style monologues.
Reason accepted and noted in the log.
For once, I don’t even need to do a rewatch of an SPN episode to say that “Mint Condition” is now in my top 5. From Dean eating pizza in his bed watching 80′s slasher films, to one of the most honest and lovely BM’s we’ve seen, to Sam admitting he hates Halloween because he panic-barfed on a girl he liked at her Halloween party, to Dean demanding matching costumes next year, that episode was pure gold.
Okay. Dean said next year they’re doing Halloween right. In matching costumes and everything. If for no other reason at all, we are owed a season 15 just for that.
The look of horror on Sam’s face imagining Dean in drag as Thelma and/or Louise is best moment ever.

i’m not even watching the episode, but i’m enjoying watching you enjoy it!
I AM LOVING EVERY FUCKING SECOND OF THIS EPISODE!!!!
Wow, Dean, he’s such a fanboy that he’s totally stoked to probably get his ass kicked by his horror movie fave. He’s like Alpha nerd.
